Giveaway Terms and Conditions

KINDLE COLORSOFT GIVEAWAY: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Promoter. Case Society Co Pty Ltd (ABN 37 688 944 309), Buderim, Queensland, Australia ("we", "us").

2. Who can enter. Open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Our staff, their immediate families and anyone involved in running the giveaway cannot enter. Void where prohibited. Entrants are responsible for checking that they are allowed to enter and receive the prize where they live.

3. No purchase necessary. You do not need to buy anything to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances.

4. Giveaway period. Opens Thursday 15 October 2026 at 7:00pm AEST and closes Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11:59pm AEST. Entries received after the close will not count. All times are Australian Eastern Standard Time (Brisbane, UTC+10).

5. How to enter. On Instagram, during the giveaway period:
a) follow @casesocietyco;
b) like the giveaway post; and
c) comment on the giveaway post tagging a friend.
Each comment tagging one different friend counts as one entry, up to a maximum of 5 entries per person. Comments beyond 5, comments tagging the same friend more than once, and entries from fake, duplicate or bulk-created accounts will not count. We may disqualify anyone we reasonably believe has used bots, entry services, fake or multiple accounts, or tried to get around the entry limit.

6. Prizes. There are three winners. Each winner receives:
- one Kindle Colorsoft 16GB (RRP A$397);
- three Case Society Co Kindle cases, chosen by the winner from the designs available to fit the Kindle Colorsoft at the time of fulfilment (RRP A$49 each); and
- one Case Society Co Book Club pouch (RRP A$19.95).
Value per winner: A$563.95. Total prize pool: A$1,691.85.

7. Draw. Three winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Monday 26 October 2026 at 10:00am AEST, using a computer-based random selection tool, at the Promoter's premises in Buderim, Queensland. The draw will be recorded and the recording kept as evidence of the selection. Each winner drawn is a provisional winner until we confirm they are eligible. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity, age and country of residence before sending a prize.

8. Winner notification and announcement. Winners will be contacted privately by direct message from @casesocietyco only. We will never ask winners for payment, card details or passwords, and we will never send a link to claim a prize. Accounts pretending to be Case Society Co may contact entrants: please ignore them and report them to Instagram. Winners' Instagram handles will be announced in our Instagram stories on Monday 26 October 2026; a winner who prefers not to be named can tell us when they reply. Winners must reply with a delivery address by Monday 2 November 2026 at 11:59pm AEST. If a provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not reply by that time, declines the prize, provides false information or is found to be ineligible, we may select a replacement winner in accordance with applicable law. Any replacement draw will take place on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 10:00am AEST, in the same way as the original draw.

9. Delivery. We will ship prizes free of charge and aim to deliver within 30 days of receiving the winner's delivery address. Because of postage restrictions and import duties on electronic devices, for winners outside Australia we may provide the Kindle Colorsoft part of the prize as a digital Amazon gift card instead of the device. The gift card will be issued for the Amazon store that serves the winner's country (amazon.com for the United States, amazon.co.uk for the United Kingdom, and amazon.com.au for New Zealand), and its value will be the higher of: (a) the current retail price of a Kindle Colorsoft 16GB on that store; or (b) A$397 converted into the store's currency at the exchange rate on the day the gift card is issued. The cases and pouch will still be sent from Australia. We pay all shipping costs and import duties on items we send.

10. Prize conditions. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except as set out in clause 9. If a prize item becomes unavailable, we may swap it for an item of equal or greater value. Any Kindle we supply comes with any applicable manufacturer's or retailer's warranty, subject to its terms. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under consumer law. Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to them personally. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs or third-party suppliers.

11. Your information. We collect winners' names and addresses only to deliver prizes, in line with our privacy policy at casesocietyco.com/policies/privacy-policy. We will not add entrants to any mailing list.

12. Instagram. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Meta or Amazon. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta from any liability. Kindle and Kindle Colorsoft are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

13. Entries we cannot see. Entries must be visible to us and able to be checked at the time of the draw. Entries that have been deleted, hidden (including by Instagram's comment filters) or are otherwise inaccessible may be treated as invalid. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for entries lost or not displayed because of Instagram, Meta or internet outages.

14. General. We may cancel, change or suspend the giveaway if something beyond our control affects it (for example fraud or a technical failure), subject to the law in each eligible country. Our decision on the winners is final. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. If our posts and these terms differ, these terms apply.
